the basics

What is this, exactly?

What is a Casamoré sunset?

A silent-disco beach event on Fort Myers Beach. Sixty guests, wireless headphones, one curated channel, and a set that starts the second the sun hits the horizon. It's us (Jack and Tony) DJing live, and it's done before the stars come out.

How does silent disco actually work?

Every guest gets a wireless headphone at check-in. We DJ one live channel from our rig, and the headphones pull directly from the transmitter — no speakers, no cables, nothing in the air. Take your headphones off and you hear the waves. Put them on and you hear the show. The range is about 300 feet, so you can wander anywhere on the sand and still be in the room.

Why silent disco? Why not speakers?

Two reasons. First, noise: Florida beaches are tightly regulated after sunset, and traditional amplified sound means permits, neighbors, and compromise. Silent disco has zero of those. Second, intimacy: sixty people listening to the same thing at the same time with nothing competing — not surf, not wind, not chatter — is a more personal experience than any rooftop bar we've ever been to.

When is the next show?

See the Sunset 01 page for the first show of the 2026 season, or the Season page for all four dates. Houseguests (our free email list) get tickets 48 hours before anyone else.

tickets

Buying, transferring, refunding.

How much are tickets?

Early bird is $15 and goes to houseguests 48 hours before the public. General is $18. Last call (the final twenty headphones) may tick up to $22 depending on demand. That's it — no fees on top, no dynamic pricing, no "service charge."

Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. Can't make it? Give your ticket to a friend — just email us the name swap 24 hours out and we'll update the list at check-in.

Exception: if a show is cancelled due to weather and cannot be rescheduled within the same week, tickets are fully refunded automatically.

Can I buy multiple tickets?

Yes. Up to six tickets per order. If you need more, email us — group rates start at ten.

Do you sell at the door?

Only if we haven't hit 60 yet, which so far we haven't been able to promise. Buy online if you can. If you show up hoping for a walk-up, come at 5:45 PM and we'll know by 6 whether there's room.

day of show

What to bring. What to leave home.

What time should I show up?

Doors open one hour before sunset. Don't come exactly at doors — come 30-40 minutes before sunset, which gives you time to check in, grab a drink, find a spot, and still feel unhurried when the music starts. The music begins the exact second the sun touches the horizon.

What should I bring?

A beach towel or small blanket. Sunscreen (the sun doesn't stop existing at 6 PM). Layers for after sunset — the beach cools down fast. Cash or card for the bar. Your ticket QR code (a name works too, but the QR is faster at check-in).

What should I NOT bring?

Your own speaker. It genuinely won't work — the audio is on the headphones only. Glass of any kind (beach rules). Outside alcohol. Pets (service animals welcome). Anyone under 18. Umbrellas that require staking — they block sightlines for the people behind you. A bad attitude about the ocean.

Will there be food and drinks?

Every ticket includes one welcome drink at the door. Beyond that, there's a small bar on-site with beer, wine, and one house cocktail (it rotates each show). No food vendors — eat dinner first, or plan on a late dinner after. Fort Myers Beach has great restaurants within five minutes of the venue; we'll send recs in the week-of email.

What are the drink bundles?

An optional pre-order at checkout. Three tiers: House ($18) for two drinks, Sunset ($24) for three drinks, and Moon ($36) for five drinks to share. Every step up gets you a better per-drink price — $9, $8, $7.20 — and 20% gratuity is baked in so the bar team is taken care of without you doing math at the welcome table. You get a small set of wooden tokens at the welcome table — one token is one drink, claimed any time between doors and last call. No line, no wallet, no waiting. Tokens are non-refundable but transferable to anyone in the room on the night of your ticket. (Dinner at a sunset is coming in Season 2.)

Is there parking?

Yes. The exact lot and walking route are included in the 24-hour email that goes to ticketholders the day before the show. We'll pick the closest public lot, then walk in as a group.

format

The show itself.

How long is the actual music?

Sixty minutes, uninterrupted, starting the second the sun hits the horizon. Doors are open for an hour before and 45 minutes after, but the set itself is one unbroken hour.

Can I take my headphones off?

Yes, and you should. Every show, at a specific moment, we invite the whole room to take them off at the same time. You'll hear why.

What kind of music?

Organic house, melodic techno, nu-disco, downtempo, and whatever else the night and the crowd ask for. Our five monthly playlists are the best preview — if you like those, you'll like the live set. If you don't like those, you might still like the live set. We don't shuffle; the order matters as much as the songs.

Do you take requests?

No, and please don't ask at the booth — it kills the mix and we get grumpy. If you love a song we played, tell us after. If you want to hear something next month, reply to any of our emails.

Will there be an afterparty?

No. The last song is the last song. We designed the show around the idea that the night should end when it ends, not three hours later. Go home. Keep the feeling. Come back in a month.

weather + safety

When the sky disagrees.

What if it rains?

Light rain: we play through it (it's Florida and nobody minds). Actual weather — thunderstorms, tropical systems, or anything the lifeguards flag: we reschedule to the next clear night the same week. Your ticket carries over automatically. We email by 2 PM the day of the show if anything changes.

What about hurricanes or tropical storms?

If a named storm is within 48 hours of the show, we cancel and fully refund. We will not try to run a beach event near a hurricane. Safety first, always.

Is the beach safe at night?

Yes. The show ends well before full dark, and the walk back to parking is done as a group on a lit boardwalk. We have a dedicated safety crew member every show, and Fort Myers Beach Police patrol the area.

accessibility + community

Who this is for.

How old do I have to be?

Casamoré sunsets are 18+. Bring ID. Anyone under 18 will be politely turned away at check-in — we're strict about this because our insurance requires it and because the vibe is just different when it's all adults.

Is the event accessible?

The approach to the venue is boardwalk-accessible. The show itself is on the sand, which presents a mobility challenge for wheelchairs, walkers, and anyone with limited mobility. If that's you, email us ahead of time — we'll personally set up a firm-surface, raised area near the booth at no extra cost, and we'll make sure you have a clear sightline and an easy path in and out.

For deaf and hard-of-hearing guests: the show is entirely on wireless headphones, which means we can pair you with a dedicated transmitter at higher volume. Email us.

Is this LGBTQ+ friendly?

Yes, unreservedly. The house is a house for everyone who wants to be in it.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Plenty of people do. The format — headphones on, eyes on the horizon — is the opposite of a singles bar. Nobody's watching you, and you're not expected to talk to anyone.

private + rental

Bringing the rig to you.

Can I rent your silent disco setup for a private event?

Yes. Our full 75-headphone rental rig is available for weddings, beach ceremonies, corporate events, yoga classes, and more. Tiered pricing, transparent quotes, 24-hour turnaround. See the rentals page for full details.

Do you DJ private events?

Occasionally, and we're very selective. If you want the Casamoré duo to actually spin your event (not just rent you the rig), send us a note with the date and what you have in mind.

Can I book a Casamoré sunset at my venue?

Casamoré is a specific, curated series — four nights a season on Fort Myers Beach. We don't franchise it. But we do produce custom private silent-disco events through A House of Love Rentals that use the same gear and care. That's probably what you want.

still wondering
